Optional Vaccinations
Certain vaccinations are not normally given to all pets. These are used to protect those kritters most at risk in certain areas. For instance, Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS Vaccinations are for cats that go out-doors. Lyme Vaccine is for dogs that tend to live in areas where tick exposure is a concern, and Bordatella (Kennel Cough) is for dogs that frequently visit groomers, daycare, boarding facilities, etc. Please let us know if you think that your pet may benefit from one of these additional types of protection. Please note some of these "optional" vaccines may be required by boarding facilities. Also note that the Rabies vaccine is required by state law for dogs and cats whether they spend time outdoors or not.
